As an experienced litigation solicitor Carl joined Brady Solicitors at the beginning of 2024, having previously worked across all areas of property law for almost 20 years, before choosing to specialise in leasehold property when joining Bradys. Prior to arriving at Bradys, Carl was a partner at his own property law firm, and therefore brings with him a wealth of legal knowledge and expertise, but also further commercial awareness.
During Carl’s previous roles he has been responsible for creating substantial case files, as well as representing numerous clients himself in court. This vast court experience is invaluable when Carl is collating case files now, as he has a detailed understanding of what is required, the likely questions to be asked and any information required to answer the questions effectively.

Areas of Expertise
Whilst Carl has a very broad understanding of property law, he has a number of areas which he particularly specialises in such as First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal cases, as well as commercial property arrears recovery and Building Safety Act advice. Furthermore, Carl has built up enviable experience over the last two decades supporting clients with:
- Building Safety Act
- Service charge reasonableness
- Commercial property arrears recovery
- Breach of lease & Breach of covenant
- Lease reviews and advice
- Leasehold property company advice
- Rental properties, such as rent arrears, breach of tenancy agreement and possession
What does Carl bring to the team?

Key interests
When I’m not at work I really enjoy getting stuck into a good book or watching a movie, with Time to Kill by John Grisham being my favourite book to date and Braveheart as my most frequently watched film. I’ve also recently taken up Pickleball, which I’d describe as a blend between badminton, tennis and table tennis. If you’ve never played it before, I’d highly recommend it.
