Brady Solicitors becomes a member of ALEP

Brady Solicitors is now a member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners, giving clients additional confidence that they will receive a consistently high level of service.

ALEP is a professional association that exists to ensure that practitioners involved in this sector adhere to an agreed level of conduct and service. Membership of ALEP is a badge of assurance to leaseholders and freeholders that they can be sure of a consistently high level of service, integrity and professionalism.

Brady Solicitors’ leasehold enfranchisement specialists are led by Lesley Brentnall, and help leaseholders to tackle problems concerning the management of their leasehold property, as well as supporting leaseholders through lease extensions, lease variations and right to manage.

Commenting on Brady Solicitors’ membership of ALEP, Lesley said:

“Since establishing the specialist team at Brady Solicitors in 2014 we have helped scores of leaseholders to extend their lease, acquire the freehold and successfully apply for the right to manage.

“Because we are a full service property law firm we are one of just a handful of ALEP members with the expertise to help leaseholders if the work becomes disputed – for example if a landlord challenges the lease extension or right to manage application.

“Securing membership of ALEP, a very well-regarded association, gives our clients the reassurance that our services will continue to be delivered with the utmost care, and efficiency.”

The leasehold enfranchisement team at Brady Solicitors also includes solicitor Claire Townroe, and paralegals Andrea White and Lizzie Collingham.

About ALEP (Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners)

Formed in 2007 and now with over 200 member organisations, ALEP is a not-for-profit association that brings together barristers, managing agents, project managers, solicitors and surveyors working in the residential leasehold sector. ALEP promotes best practice by vetting organisations and individual barristers to ensure they have significant expertise in leasehold enfranchisement.  Membership of ALEP acts as a badge of assurance so that flat owners and freeholders can be confident that they are employing professionals with the right level of experience in handling potentially complex transactions.
