Employee Spotlight: Dave Millichap on Building Relationships, Driving Growth and Making an Impact at Brady Solicitors

Dave Millichap joined Brady Solicitors in May 2026 as our Senior New Business Manager. Working closely with managing agents and credit control teams, Dave helps organisations identify opportunities to improve service charge arrears recovery and build effective long-term partnerships with Brady.

We caught up with Dave to discuss what attracted him to Brady Solicitors, his experience so far, and his ambitions for the future.

Why Brady Solicitors?

When considering his next career move, Dave was looking for more than just a new role.

“Bradys stood out to me as an organisation because it was clear they had built a strong collaborative culture with huge potential for personal and professional development,” he explains.

“I am new to the property management industry and the chance to make a real impact within the communities our clients support was also a key factor.”

Those positive first impressions were reinforced during his first few weeks with the business.

“My first impressions were of a friendly and supportive team who share a real mission to provide the best legal services for our clients. The onboarding process was well structured and delivered at a pace that helped me get to grips with both my role, expectations and the solutions we provide to the property management industry.”

Supporting Managing Agents Across the Sector

As Senior New Business Manager, Dave’s role centres on understanding the challenges faced by managing agents and demonstrating how Bradys’ specialist legal services can help resolve them.

“My role is to engage with and listen to managing agents across the sector to uncover how we can help with efficient service charge arrears recovery, which results in smooth-running services and spaces enjoyed by communities,” says Dave.

A typical day involves speaking with senior leaders and credit control teams to gain a deeper understanding of their current challenges and identify ways Bradys can support faster, more effective debt recovery.

Although still early in his Bradys journey, Dave is proud of the progress he has made in establishing relationships throughout the sector.

“With only 16 weeks in the business, I am proud to have built a significant number of relationships within a cross-section of managing agents who share our drive for excellence and professionalism.”

A Culture Built on Trust and Support

One of the things Dave values most about Brady Solicitors is the supportive culture that exists throughout the business.

“The culture at Bradys is an environment built on trust and shared values where everyone supports one another and every voice is heard.”

That support has been especially valuable as he has immersed himself in a new industry.

“Right from day one, my team welcomed me in and helped me find my feet with patience, honesty and enthusiasm. There are no egos and we all work towards the same goals together as a unit. We celebrate successes and learn from challenges in equal measure.”

Learning, Developing and Making an Impact

Like anyone entering a new sector, Dave faced a steep learning curve during his first few months.

“My main challenge has been learning industry knowledge while holding meetings with senior leaders within managing agents,” he says.

“I have overcome this with the fantastic guidance from colleagues from across the business.”

Looking back on his first few months, the highlight has been seeing the tangible impact of his work.

“Knowing that I have made a real impact on the business by implementing robust business development processes and securing new clients has been incredibly rewarding.”

Looking Ahead

Dave is particularly excited about the opportunities ahead following the recent investment into Brady Solicitors.

“The news of significant investment into the business is what most excites me for the coming months. We have a fantastic opportunity to build the most prominent property management law firm in the country, which is a unique position to be in.”

As the business continues to grow, Dave sees his role evolving alongside it.

“I see my role evolving with the business, enabling me to build on the foundations of the structured business development process I have already established. The future is bright.”

Alongside this, Dave is focused on broadening his understanding of the property management sector, particularly around legislative change and how Brady Solicitors can continue supporting clients through industry reform.

Three Words to Describe Brady Solicitors

When asked to summarise his experience at Brady Solicitors in just three words, Dave’s answer was simple:

Supportive. Inclusive. Fun.

And for anyone considering joining the firm?

“I would not hesitate to apply. It has been the best move of my career so far. You will be joining a business right at the beginning of a huge upward trajectory, with vast opportunities for both personal and professional growth while being part of the number one property management law firm in the country.”

We are delighted to have Dave as part of the Brady team and look forward to seeing his continued success as both he and the business continue to grow.
