Trainee Solicitors
The Programme
We believe that the best way to start your legal career with us is by spending time as a member of our Business Support team or a Paralegal. This way, you’ll really get to know the business, our clients and our ways of working and with that experience you’d be ready to throw yourself into our ‘hands on’ trainee solicitor programme. Spending time across our departments, you will gain experience across the following areas:
- Service Charge (Arrears Recovery)
- Defended Debt Resolution
- Litigation
- (there may also be the opportunity to spend time with our Lease Extension or Enfranchisement Teams too).
Having gained around 6 months experience in one of our teams, you would be eligible to apply to join our cohort of Trainee Solicitors when the application window is opened and start your journey to qualification with us.
Our Support
What we have to offer you goes way beyond the day-to-day development. We recognise that the legal qualification routes is changing and so for those who are LPC qualified and want to continue with the traditional training contract route, we would be happy to support you with that. We are also able to consider applications for financial sponsorship under the SQE and support with the QWE that you need at the same time. All that we would ask is that you agree to stay with us for a period of time once you’ve got your qualification in the bag.
Here at Bradys you get the opportunity to handle your own caseload (and you won’t just be stuck at the photocopier!). Working alongside our team of expert legal professionals, your learning will be supported by some of the best within the industry. Not to mention the wider cohort of trainees and newly qualified solicitors, you are never far away from tapping into expertise to help you learn new skills and consolidate those that you are putting into practice.
We offer access to a variety of learning and development opportunities whether that be shadowing, mentoring, getting involved in projects, through to externally delivered sessions.
Regular 121s and reviews with your immediate supervisor and our Training Principal are a key feature of your learning experience with us.
Your Experience
So, if you are wanting to pursue your legal career with a growing niche business, look no further. If you are passionate about making a difference to clients, committed to delivering excellent service and can see through on the commitments that you make, please get in touch with us.
If timings don’t quite align (in terms of our opportunities and your experience) then we would welcome the opportunity to keep your details on file for the future but for now, let’s get the conversation started.
